Norwich City and Swansea City are set to battle it out for Serie A defender Jacob Rasmussen, according to Football Insider.
Another Championship side interested is West London side Queens Park Rangers. The Championship trio are all in the market for a centre-back this summer and the 25-year-old is believed to be high on the list.
Rasmussen has struggled since joining Fiorentina and has spent the last two campaigns on loan at Dutch side Vitesse Arnhem.
The former Denmark Under-21 international joined Fiorentina from Emoli in January 2019, but he has yet to feature for the club having spent the last three years on loan at Empoli, Erzgebirge Aue and Vitesse Arnhem.
Rasmussen was immediately loaned back to Empoli following his arrival at Fiorentina before failing to impress upon his return to his new club. The 25-year-old has been a regular for Vitesse during his two seasons at the club, making 72 appearances in all competitions and scoring three goals.
The defender has been in every Denmark youth level team, playing in every age group for Under 16s to the Under 21s. He is yet to make a senior appearance for his country with his last youth appearance coming in 2019.
Norwich, Swansea and QPR are all preparing for the opening Sky Bet Championship weekend, but the trio are all still active in the market and it seems strengthen in defence is a key area for all three sides.
